Magnum Front Axles
Magnum's dropped tube axles accept '37-'48 Ford or
Magnum spindles and are available in either 4" or 5" drop.
Axles are constructed using 1018 forged steel ends with
2"x.250" wall 1018 seamless tubing and are set up with 1 to
1-1/4 degrees positive camber. A variety of widths are available
to accommodate all '28-'36 Fords. Special widths are
also available for an additional charge. Tube axles are available
plain or chromed. Specify 2" or 2 1/4" axle boss. The 5"
axle is available with lower shock mount welded in place.
’28-’48 I-Beam Axles
Magnum's 4" & 5" dropped I-Beam axles feature a one
piece design of ductile iron and will accept '37-'48 Ford or
Magnum spindles. Four widths are available to fit '28-'48
Fords. Specify 2" or 2 1/4" axle boss when ordering. I-Beam
Axles are available plain or chrome. Note that recessed
areas of chromed axles are not polished.
